Another of my Firth of Forth Bridge series.
This artwork is study in traditional fine art styles, photo-manipulation and digital painting. I wanted to give the viewer the sense of an old oil late 19th century painting found in an antique shop in the country side, while maintaining a deceptively modern appearance.
Much of the bridge, water and stonework was digitally repainted, while a mix of digital overlays were incorporated to create the grungy \ discolored lacquered overlay.
I printed the final 36″ x 24″ on metallic paper.
